Long-Term Residential
Bethany's Long-Term Residential Treatment Program provides residential services to a school-age, co-ed population who are unable to live with their own or substitute family. Typically, these young people require more structure, more elaborate programming and more highly-trained staff than is possible in a smaller group setting. Treatment services available on campus include psychiatric, psychological, music therapy, family counseling, recreational activities, medical, dental, and life skills education.

Bethany uses a blended model of live-in cottage staff and shift cottage workers. There are full-time regular houseparent couples on duty at all times in each of the cottages. There are also full-time relief houseparent couples who function in a relief capacity and split time between two cottages.

There is a maximum capacity for 100 youth residing in nine cottages at Bethany. Youth reside in cottage units of eight to fifteen youth, two residing per room, under the direct care of child care staff.
