| Music Therapy Internship |
 |
| Bethany Children’s Home is approved by the American Music Therapy Association as an internship site for music therapy students who have completed all required course work from an accredited school. The internship is the final step to completion of an undergraduate, graduate or equivalency degree in music therapy. Interns are selected through an application, interview and audition process. The intern must complete the required 1,040 hours of training under a board certified music therapist. These six months include orientation, observation, direct client contact, supervision, assessment, record keeping and documentation, in-service training, self-awareness and professional growth, administrative tasks, and special projects. Interns are provided housing and meals throughout the internship. |
