Let’s Make a Difference!

Bethany Children’s Home is a registered 501 (c)(3) organization that provides high-quality residential care for children aged 6-21 who are unable to live in a traditional family setting.

Currently, Bethany serves over 300 children annually through its residential, shelter care, and short-term care programs.

Gifts to Bethany provide us the opportunity to give these children a true “home” atmosphere in a caring and therapeutic environment.  Through our donors’ generosity, we are able to offer youth various therapies, educational and recreational programming, special event and trip opportunities, and special holiday celebrations.

For more information about making a gift to Bethany, contact the Development office at 610-589-4501.

401 Kids
The IRS has a 401-K option you can use to supplement your future retirement income. That can come in handy because not many people live on social security alone without hardship.

At Bethany, government payments are like social security payments for kids. That why we have 401 KIDS! It supplements Bethany’s endowment to provide those things we think are essential to living and learning but that the government won’t pay for.

A gift to 401 KIDS gives you a tax deduction now, rather than a deferred one. And, you get an official looking certificate stating that you have donated for Brighter Future’s 4 Kids and Families.

Birthday Fund

Birthdays at Bethany Children’s Home are a special time for cakes, balloons, gifts, friends, family, and fun!

At Bethany, we make sure that all of the kids celebrate their birthdays with cake, balloons and a few gifts. For many of our children, a birthday party at Bethany is the first they have ever had.

Help put a smile on a child’s face by making contributions to the Birthday Fund. Your gift will be used to purchase gifts and party decorations.

Boyer’s Caring & Sharing

Bethany Children’s Home can earn a rebate of 1% on all of our group members’ purchases. No Receipts to Save, No Receipts to Add Up!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Boyer’s will provide each group with scannable cards, which can be carried on a key ring by each group member.
  2. Present the key tag to the cashier, who will then scan it and ring up their order.
  3. Boyer’s will electronically accumulate all of the group members’ purchases.
  4. Boyer’s will then rebate each group 1% of the total purchases (excluding tax, milk, and cigarettes). Rebates are issued twice per year.

There is no limit to the amount of money Bethany can earn. So, give us a call today and join our community of Boyer’s shoppers whose grocery and everyday purchases are giving back to Bethany Children’s Home.

Redner’s Save-A-Tape

Redner’s is committed to the communities that it is a part of, and wants to help out the non-profit organizations whose members shop in their stores. In this interest, Redner’s developed the 1% Save-A-Tape program. Bethany Children’s Home has participated in the program for 20 years!

Here’s how it works:
Each member of our participating group must stop at the store office or Customer Service area to get a Save-A-Tape card. By using this card each time you purchase merchandise at Redner’s Warehouse Markets, your receipt will be designated as a Save-A-Tape customer receipt.

Our Development Team will total all the Save-A-Tape totals on your receipts. When we have accumulated enough tapes to receive a meaningful rebate, (at least $50 rebate) we will take the bundle of receipts to our local Redner’s.

Within 8 weeks Bethany will get a check for 1% of the total amount of the tapes submitted (Excluding items controlled by the government such as tax, milk and tobacco products).

An example of what you can do:
Let’s say our group has 50 families with an average of $75.99 per week in supermarket expenditures. If it was all spent at Redner’s Warehouse Markets, and we saved tapes for a year, we would receive a check for $1,950.00. There is no time limit and no dollar limit!

Start saving your tapes today and you’ll soon be contributing to Bethany’s benefits of this simple program.

Faith Fund

The Bethany Faith Fund provides for the special needs or activities of individual children in care at Bethany. These funds provide support for the items that make Bethany “home” for our children in which state and county funding does not provide for.
